This is a feature that allows you to continue the work you were doing on a specific device to another task when your Mac, iPhone, or iPad are nearby. The easiest example is that if you are reading an article or surfing the web on your iPhone, you can see the article right away when you open it again on your iPad or MacBook. This is a feature that can be used.
